Senior CPC official meets Cambodian guests

BEIJING—Liu Yunshan, head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said here Friday that the traditional friendship between China and Cambodia has gong through the vicissitude of international situation.
Liu made the remark while meeting with a delegation from the Cambodian People’s Party headed by Pen Pannha, a member of the Standing Committee of the party’s central committee. Liu, also a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said the current visit of Pen Pannha will further strengthen the mutual understanding of the two parties and push forward bilateral ties.
He expressed appreciation for Cambodia’s long-standing adherence to the one-China policy, adding China would like to work with Cambodia to advance the all-round cooperative partnership.
Pen Pannha congratulated the CPC on convening its 17th National Congress. He said Cambodia People’s Party appreciates China’s long-term and great assistance to the reconstruction and economic development of Cambodia.—Xinhua
