Indian fighter aircraft crashes

NEW DELHI—A Jaguar fighter aircraft of India Air Force crashed down after taking off from Jamnagar airbase in Gujarat on Friday. A spokesman of the Indian Air Force said the pilot bailed out before the crash which took place on Friday afternoon. The pilot is safe, he added. The crash of the plane did not cause any damage on the ground, the spokesman further said.—Agencies
