suspects arrested
QUETTA—Security forces, in their search operation, have arrested 40
foreign nationals hailing from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan at Chaman
Pak-Afghan border.
According to information, security personnel raided at a house in the
border area and arrested 20 Uzbek nationals. On this account, more
reinforcement of law enforcers was called out to conduct a major search
operation against suspected foreign nationals living in border-adjacent
areas.
During search operation, law enforcers arrested additional 20 Uzbek and
afghan figures after waging raids at several houses. Further, three
agents, facilitating illegal border crossing, comprehended. All arrested
people were being handed over to Saddar Police. Later on, stringent
security has been placed in the aforesaid area to actualize more raids.
Killa Abdullah police in collaboration with Anti-Terrorism Force on
Friday raided various places in Chaman town and arrested 246 Afghanis,
DPO Killa Abdullah district, Naseebullah Tareen told. These people had
entered Pakistan without any legal documents and were residing in
different areas in the town.
Police after preliminary investigation will hand over them to Federal
Investigation Agency (FIA) for further investigation and they will be
