ITP arrests fleeing killer

ISLAMABAD—Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Thursday arrested a person fleeing after allegedly killing a man over old enmity here at Al-Jalal bus stop in Sabzi Mandi police area, said the police spokesman. Eight to ten persons came on two cars, shot dead Javed s/o Muhammad Aslam resident of Sialkot and tried to escape from the scene. The `Uqab’ squad of ITP chased the fleeing killers and arrested one of the killer identified as Zarar Butt alongwith murder weapon. Later, the murderer was handed over to the Sabzi Mandi police station.
