Committees set up to register Madaris

GUJRANWALA—Punjab Zakat Council has constituted committees for the registration of the Madrassas of all districts throughout the Province. Punjab Zakat Council also issued notification to each in this connection in order to ensure registration of all the Madrassas in each district throughout the Punjab. Meanwhile Punjab Zakat Council has also appointed Ulema as supervisors in the major cities to ensure smooth registration process. Zubair Ahmad Zahir has been appointed in Gujranwala, Mian Abdul Sattar in Lahore, Muhammad Jan Ullah Rizvi Dera Ghazi Khan, Dr. Mehmood Bahawalpur while Shams-ur-Rehman will supervise Faisalabad and Sargodha District.
