Opp not positive over APC, says Durrani
Staff Report

ISLAMABAD—Federal information minister Muhammad Ali Durrani has said that the Opposition did not respond positively over the All Parties Conference (APC) to be convened by the Government.
The government had floated the idea of the APC to evolve a joint strategy to counter the threats by terrorists and extremists and the opposition should respond positively over it, the minister said this while talking to media men here in Pakistan Muslim League (PML) House on Wednesday. The minister said that APC would be held if they respond positively. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), said that the PPP leadership has expressed political immaturity by leveling allegations against government institutions and officials without any substantial proof for their alleged involvement in the Karachi blasts. It is totally ridiculous to involve any Government Personnel in Karachi tragedy, he said, adding, PPP should avoid giving irresponsible statements otherwise get ready for befitting reply, he maintained.
