Nisar Akbar joins PML-N

LAHORE—Former Federal Minister and PPP’s Parliamentarian from Faisalabad constituency, Captain (r) Nisar Akbar has strongly opposed the polices of Benazir Bhutto and announced to join PML-N. He expressed his intentions in a joint press conference along with President PML-N Punjab, Zulfiqar Ali Khosa, District President PML-N Faisalabad Safdar Rehman and others here in the PML-N Provincial Secretariat on Wednesday. He said that during the London meeting, it came to be known that PPP has lost its “original spirit” and now it has also lost its confidence among masses. Circumstances have totally changed and I think only PML-N could take out the country from the present crisis, he said by adding that “I have announced to joined PML-N unconditionally.” Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa said that Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is still in Saudi Arabia and final date for his return is not decided yet.
