China CNG Company delegation holds investment-exploring talks with Jadoon

ISLAMABAD—A delegation from China world resources Company headed by its chief Executive Mr Hu Bin called on the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Mr Amanullah Khan Jadoon here on Tuesday and exchanged views on investment opportunities in CNG sector.
During the meeting the Chinese delegation expressed its keenness to invest in setting up CNG compressor manufacturing unit in Pakistan. The Minister was told that China CNG World Resources have expertise in compressor manufacturing technology and it could cooperate with Pakistan's CNG industry for promoting the easy level of interaction between the two friendly countries.
Welcoming the delegation, the Minister said that there exit a lot of opportunities for foreign companies in Pakistan's CNG sector and the government would facilitate China World Resources in compressor manufacturing unit and transfer of technology.
He said that the government has introduced an investor friendly policy in CNG sector and encouraging the local and foreign investor to avail these opportunities for the mutual advantage.
The Minister said that CNG industry in Pakistan has made unprecedented growth in last few years and ranked the 2nd largest CNG user country in the world .the Ministry said that manufacturing of the compressing and the CNG kits in the country would minimize the import bill to great extent.
Additional Secretary, Petroleum, Mr Shaukat Hayat Durrani and DG, (HDIP) Mr Hilal A. Raza was also present in the meeting..
