119 cross LoC from Poonch

Jammu—A total of 119 people from both the separated parts of Jammu and Kashmir crossed sides from Chakkan-da-Bagh point on Line of Control (LoC) at Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources Tuesday said. While 70 people entered Indian side from Azad Kashmir (AJK), 49 crossed over to the other side of LoC yesterday, after the crossing point was opened at 1055 hrs till 1800 hrs, sources said. Of the 70 people who entered the Indian side, 39 were those who came here to meet their relatives from AJK, whereas, 31 Indian were returnees. Similarly, 30 J and K residents crossed over to that side alongwith 19 AJK returnees, sources disclosed.—Agencies
