14 gamblers arrested

RAWALPINDI—On the instructions of City Police Officer Rawalpindi (CPO) Syed Saud Aziz in, the police in an operation against the gambling arrested 14 gamblers and recovered cash and other goods.
The Police Station Sadiqabad on the other day raided and arrested 7 gamblers named Shehzad, Kaleem Akber, Wajid, Kamran, Usman, Faisal Qureshi, and Naveed. The police has recovered cash worth of eleven thousand and 5 mobile phones have also been recovered from their possession.
The Police Station Pirwadhai also raided another gambling point and arrested 7 gamblers namely Javed, Samuel Match, imanant Masih, Riaz, Nasir, Shehbaz and Shafeeque. They recovered cash worth of 21 hundred fifty Rupees and two mobiles. Separate cases have been registered against the accused.—Agencies
