NWFP names three caretaker ministers

PESHAWAR—The names of three ministers for the NWFP caretaker cabinet announced for first phase on the recommendation of caretaker Chief Minister, Shamsul Mulk here Monday.
The names of ministers for the cabinet are Shahzada Gustasip Khan, Ex Chief Secretary Azam Khan and Badar Bakht. They have also been assigned the Departments.
Shahzada Gustasip Khan has been assigned the portfolios (Department of Interior), Azam Khan (Finance Department) while Bakht Badar Khan will look after the Department of Labour, according to official handout issued here. NWFP Governor Lt Gen (Rted), Ali Muhammad Jan Aurakzai will administer oath to the new ministers on October 24.
. The NWFP Governor Lt. Gen. (R) Ali Muhammad Jan Aurakzai while setting aside the speculations regarding an political pressure for selecting the caretaker cabinet in NWFP has said that the new cabinet would be set-up in the next two days. He expressed these views while talking to mediamen after the inauguration of the female section of Islamia College Peshawar (ICP) at Peshawar University on Monday.
In reply to a question about any political pressure to induct some people in the caretaker cabinet, the Governor said that there is no political pressure on him and assured that the caretaker cabinet is also finalized. When his attention was drawn towards delay in the holding of general elections in FATA due to the security reasons, he said that only in North Waziristan and some areas of Bajaur agency the law and order is unsatisfactory.
