CM approves
setting up of PPF
LAHORE—The Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has, in
principle, approved the establishment of Punjab Police Foundation (PPF).
This was told at a meeting of the Committee of Administration of Punjab
Police Foundation (PPF) held here on Monday at central police office,
with Inspector General of Police Punjab, Ahmed Nasim in chair. Matters
regarding administration and management of PPF were discussed in detail
and several decisions were also taken in the meeting in this resepct.
Various recommendation regarding aims and objective of PPF,
administrative rules and regulations etc were presented in the meeting.
The meeting was told that PPF would be a welfare foundation built on the
administrative structure of Fauji Foundation and it will help in
providing health, education, marriage support and residential facilities
to the serving and retired police officers and employees and their
families. Addressing the meeting, IG Punjab said that formation of PPF
is a good step taken by Punjab government which will help police
officers and employees to take good care of their families and this will
eventually boost their performance and morale.—Agencies |
