Karachi like incidents to encourage retrogressive forces: Khakwani
ISLAMABAD—Former minister of state for information technology and MNA
Ishaq Khakwani has expressed deep grief and sorrow over October 18
Karachi bomb explosions saying retrogressive forces will flourish in
such environment.
Talking to Online on Sunday, the former State Minister held Karachi
incident was aimed at restricting the activities of politicians within
the four walls of their homes rather than allowing them to go to public.
He maintained politicians wanted to run their election campaign but now
difficulties will come their way. This incident has provided the people
excuse not to participate in the public meetings, he added.
He demanded that those who are acceptable to all and are having
political thinking be made part of caretaker set up. Technical people
should not be included , he held.
Those politicians against whom cases were registered on personal grudge
be granted amnesty under National Reconciliation Ordinance and the cases
should not be withdrawn against those corruption charges had been
proved. . NRO should not be an individual specific but it should be for
all, he demanded.
No one is creating hurdle on the way to united Muslim League, he said
adding the real hindrance is self ego and self aggrandizement. We have
no confidence on leadership of Mir Zafar Ullah Jamali. Leader should be
large hearted, open minded, he remarked.—Online |
