NAB court hears Nawaz’s graft case

RAWALPINDI—Judge Special Accountability Court No. 4, Khalid Mehmood here Friday putting off the hearing till November 8, summoned Nawaz Sharif and others accused of his family allegedly involved in three corruption references filed by NAB including money laundering and misuse of powers in Hudebia paper Mills, Ittefaq Foundry and Riawind land, directing them to appear before court on the next hearing.
Earlier, in the last hearing, the Deputy Prosecutor General National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Zulfiqar Ahmed Bhutta through an application had pleaded the court to defer the hearing till November, praying that NAB has the information regarding Nawaz Sharif and other accused arrival in the country in November. The Accountability Court in view of NAB application has fixed November 8 for next hearing and issued summons to the accused to appear before the court on the next hearing.—Agencies
