Designing work of Lahore-Sialkot Motorway in progress

SIALKOT—Work is in progress on the preparation of detailed design of the Sialkot-Lahore Motorway, a mega project being constructed at a cost of twenty-three billion rupees. The design of the project is expected to be completed early next year on approval of which the Punjab government will invite tenders for the construction of this Motorway. A NESPAK spokesmen said that the Provincial Government is establishing three industrial Zones, each spread over an area of three thousand acres, along the Motorway to boost industrialization. In addition, one Germany and Swedish University will open their campuses along the Sialkot-Lahore Motorway.—Online
