800 Lady educators awaiting extension in services

RAWALPINDI—Despite the issuing of the notification from Provincial Education Ministry regarding 5 years extension in the contract of the Educators, the contract of Lady Educators working in the Girls Schools of the District still not extended which put their future in danger.
According to the details, nearly 800 Lady Educators (Teachers) are performing their responsibilities in the Girls Schools of the District and Deputy District Education Officer, Rawalpindi despite the notification from the Provincial Government not issuing the notification of the extension of the services of these teachers.
Sources said that according to the rules, DDE Officer is bound to extend the notification of the services of the teachers after issuing of the notification from the Punjab Government but the case of the Lady Education not forwarded.
Protesting over the situation, the Lady Teachers said that after the issuing of the notification from the Punjab Government, the extension in the services of male educators extended but they are still awaiting for the extension of their services.
