MMA still intact: Qazi
Bureau Report

LAHORE—MMA president and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmad confessed that delay in dissolution of Sarhad Assembly was a chief reason in developing differences in MMA, however these mutual distances would be bridged at its leaders meeting of MMA. While addressing a press conference after attending the session of Central Executive Council of JI, the prominent religious leader also claimed that Alliance’s parties would contest upcoming general elections from the platform of MMA
He alleged that Pakistan is becoming an American colony due to Musharraf’s policies, who has waged a war in tribal areas on the American directives and this battle made it difficult to identify who is the real martyr. He agreed that “some unwise decisions” had afflicted the credibility of MMA, and while replying another query, he said Presidential poll have become a part of past, and Nation should look ahead to coming challenges.
