Cantt areas facing water shortage

RAWALPINDI—Owing to non-functional tube-wells in Cantonment area, a number of areas are facing immense water shortage.
The areas which facing water shortage including Tench Bhatta, Siham, Mughalabad, RA Bazaar, Dhok Haso, Allaabad and Gwalmandi . Protesting over the situation, the residents of the area complained that they area facing water shortage for the last one week and despite lodging complaints, the authorities concerned paid no heed to their complaints and tube-wells still not repaired. Ahmad Sheeraz Saeed, a resident of the area while complaining about the situation said that they have no choice but to purchase water tanker which is too expensive for them.—Online
