PTCL launches prompt phone connection campaign

ISLAMABAD—The Spokesman of the Office of General Manager Access Network (Operation) Islamabad said that under the instructions of PTCL executive Vice President Business North Zone Pervaiz Khan the campaign of prompt phone connections to the customers of Rawalpindi and its adjacent cities has been started from first week of October till last week of October.
The phone connections are providing to the applicants of customers at camp offices established in Taxila, Attock, Gujar Khan, Rawalpindi and Muree areas, said a Press release issued here on Sunday.
The senior engineer (operations) of these cities are supervising the camp offices setup for this purpose where the PTCL staff is available to install the phones on submission of applications within 24 hours.
This campaign is possible due to expansion of PTCL network in these particular cities. The areas of Taxila, Attock Gujar Khan, Rawalpindi and Muree in this respect are included Hassanabdal, Lal Rukh, Burhan, Balhot, Basal, Jand, Hazro, Shadi Khan, Pindi Gheb, Maria Sharif, Fateh Jhang, Nara, Mandra, Rawat, Kallar Syadan and main Murree etc respectively.
The aim of launching this campaign of providing phones connections to the people of rural far flung areas of Rawalpindi division at priority basis in order to improve teledensity in the country as well as PTCL telecom staff of the art technology facilities to everyone and everywhere.
The application forms are available in these camp offices where valued customers of concerned areas can avail phone connections on the basis of the first come first again. They can also lodge their phone complaints for earliest rectification by operational staff. PTCL always tries its level best to serve the valued customers.
