Chairman CDA directs to begin work on new museum

ISLAMABAD—Taking strict notice of delay in construction work of new museum near Lok Virsa in the vicinity of Shakarparian, Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Kamran Lashari has directed responsible authorities to start its work as soon as possible. Last year, the Chairman directed to build new museum by bulldozing old one but so far no work could be started.
The design of new museum has still not been prepared causing utter disappointment among people living in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad who is seeking new recreational activities. Plot for the new National Museum was allocated near Lok Virsa in the vicinity of Shakarparian. Chairman CDA Kamran Lashari directed relevant authorities to start work for establishment of new museum in Capital by preparing the design on immediate basis. —Online
