MNA Shahabuddin joins PML (Q)

PESHAWAR—Member National Assembly (MNA) from Bajaur Agency, Shahabuddin Khan here Friday resigned from ANP and joined Pakistan Muslim League (Q) along with thousands of his supporters.Addressing a press-conference along with Federal Minister for Political Affairs and NWFP PML (Q) President, Engr Amir Muqam here at Hayatabad, Shahabuddin Khan expressed his full confidence in the leadership of President Gen Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, PML President, Ch Shujaat Hussain and Federal Minister for Political Affairs, Engir Amir Muqam.“I started re-thinking about my political career after the ANP failed to acknowledge my and his family long services and association with the Pakhtuns nationalist party,” he told reporters.—Online
