New recruitments banned in Railway

RAWALPINDIêFollowing completion of recruitment on vacant Posts in Pakistan Railway Rawalpindi division recently, the railway ministry has put a ban on new ones in the department.
The ministry has declared 1400 employees recently recruited in Pindi division on daily wages and contract as unnecessary. It is expected that these employees will be dismissed from their jobs following formation of interim Government.
The railway authorities said they don’t have sufficient fund that’s why new recruitment has been banned in the department. Majority of employees recently recruited in the department on daily wages and contract includes helper and technician.
Upto 3000 employees have been recruited in Pakistan Railway during last three years.—Agencies
