JI to resign today: Jhagra
ISLAMABAD—The general secretary of PML (N) Zafar Iqbal Jhagra has
claimed that his party, ANP and JI members would resign from assembly
today, Friday.
Talking to a private TV channel, Zafar Iqbal Jhagra has claimed that
three parties have reached an understanding regarding resignations,
which include PML (N), ANP and JI.
He said that all these parties agree that resignations were the only
conducive course of action, while Maulana Fazl-Ur-Rahman’s consent was
being actively sought, since his support was imperative.
Referring to Re-conciliation Ordinance he said that any comments about
it could only be dispensed after it surfaces
Meanwhile opposition leaders Maulana Fazl-Ur-Rehman has said that all
decisions reached on the APDM forum should be respected, and individual
decisions should be eschewed, and He denied any knowledge regarding any
resignations from NWFP assembly.
While categorically rejecting Jhagra’s statement regarding any
resignations, he denied having any knowledge about them, strictly
advocating APDM forum for all decisions, rather than personal
whims.—Online
