Trader organizations refuse to observe shutter down strike tomorrow

RAWALPINDI—Various trader organizations of different bazaars in Rawalpindi city and Cantonment have refused to back announcement of shutter down strike by All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) on the occasion of Presidential elections tomorrow (Saturday). Local leader of APDM held talks with office bearers of different trade organizations and tried their best to convince on shutter down strike but could not convince them.
We will not obverse shutter down strike as per announcement of APDM due to inflation and Eid, said Spokesman Central Anjuman-e-Tajraan and President Anjuman-e-Tajraan Rawalpindi Ghulam Qadir Mir while talking to Online. However, he said, we are supporting stance of Opposition on the Presidential elections instead of Government Policies. The low-income traders, which are already suffering economic crisis, will have to suffer badly if we holds shutter down strike, Qadir pointed out.—Agencies
