CDA to launch
anti-encroachment campaign
ISLAMABAD—Capital Development
Authority (CDA) will start anti-encroachment campaign in sectors G and I
soon to vacate public places and commercial centers from encroachers,
official sources said on Tuesday.
Deputy Director of Enforcement CDA, Captain (R) Muhammad Faizsaid that a
special team had been constituted to successfully conduct the
anti-encroachment campaign.
He said the campaign had been already conducted in Aabparamarket, Melody
market, Super market, Firdous market, Amjad market, Faisal market, Tariq
market, Gulshan market, Faizabad, Pir Wadahi,Jan market in G-7, G-7
markaz, G-8 markaz, G-9 markaz, F-6, F-7, F- 8, F-10 and F-11 sectors.
Over eighty CDA workers have been taking part in the anti-encroachment
operations, he added. He said the CDA had strictly warned all
encroachers in thecapital while an expeditious campaign would be started
soon after Ramazan. He said that four illegally built houses have also
been demolished in E-10 and E-11 sectors.—APP
