Two power pylons blow up in Hub

HUB—Some unidentified men blew up two-power pylon of 500 kilovolt (KV) supplying electricity from Hubco International Power to Jamshoro on Monday. Official sources told that some unknown persons had planted eight bombs along the towers of Hubco transition line out of which six exploded with a big bang while bomb disposal squad have defused two other bombs.
As the result six blasts, both towers were partially damaged. The timely action by the bomb squad saved from a lot of damage. It was the second attempt to blowup electricity towers supplying Gas Hubco International Power to Jamshoro during last two days. On complaint of Sub Division Officer (SDO) Mustafa Kamal, Hub Police have registered case under explosive act 144/07 and started investigation.
