Pak, Afghan gate blown up

MIRANSHAH—Unidentified persons blew up the Pak-Afghan gate established in the border area of Ghulam Khan near North Waziristan. According to details, the explosive material was installed along with Pak-Afghan gate, which exploded with a big bang damaging the gate badly, however no loss of human life was reported in this blast, the sources claimed.
The authorities concerned have started investigating the incident. A gunship helicopter targeted a suspicious vehicle through shelling and in result six persons including foreigners are reported to be killed near Meer Ali in North Waziristan.
According to the sources, in Jablar, a suspicious vehicle was targeted through firing from a gunship helicopter in Jablar, an area between Meer Ali and Khaisur in North Waziristan. In result, six persons have been reported to be killed and they also included four Uzbec persons. The vehicle was damaged by fire after shelling from helicopter.
Tribal militants on Thursday handed over six more security personnel held by them in South Waziristan Agency to Peace Jirga. These personnel were released after dialogue with the peace Jirga headed by Member National Assembly Maulana Mirajuddin.
Dialogue continues between members of the peace Jirga and the militants for the release of remaining kidnapped security personnel.
