PML-Q receives 1243 applications

ISLAMABAD—The number of applicants for the reserved seats of National Assembly has reached up to 1234 in PML-Q secretariat and dead line for the submission of applications would be 25th September, sources disclosed. According to details, most of the applicants are current members of National Assembly and ministers. Candidates belonging to Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and other political parties of the country have not submitted application for party ticket to PML-Q, the sources told Online. Sources further told that Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, President PML-Q Chaudhary Shujaat Hussein, and Federal Minister for Railway Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed and Federal Minister for religious affairs Ejaz-ul-Haq have also not submitted their applications for party ticket.—Online
