CDA to
establish health task force in Ramzan
ISLAMABAD—The
Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to establish a health
task force to improve the hygienic conditions hotels, markets and to
stop the adulteration in edible commodities.
This was decided in a meeting under the chairmanship of director health
Dr. Saeed Ahmed held here the other day. The meeting decided that the
sellers of edible items would be minotered and provision of edible items
without adulteration would be ensured while the bazaars and markets
would also be inspected on daily basis to maintain the standard of
cleanliness and to prevent the diseases.
It was also decided in the meeting that health cards would be issued to
all the employees of bakeries and hotels of the federal capital and
blood tests would also be conducted and vaccinated. These steps are
being taken for the first time in Islamabad, the sources disclosed. The
meeting was attended by health officer Dr. Khudijat-ul-Kubra, food
inspector Malik Mazhar, Malik Imran Hanif and Malik Ilyas.—Online
