Closed Circuit Cameras to be installed at Secretariat

ISLAMABAD—Closed circuit cameras would be installed at all the floors and blocks of ministries and divisions on the directives of the federal government.
This step has been taken to avoid possible terrorist activities.
The attendance of officers and workers of these ministries and divisions would also be computerized and for this purpose a punching machine would be placed at each floor of the ministries and divisions. In the first phase security cameras would be installed at all floors of R and S blocks of the Interior Ministry and for that the work of lay down of cable has started. The main central room of closed circuit cameras would also be established in Ministry of interior, which would monitor the Cameras at others ministries as well. and an attendance punching machine would be installed at all floors. Through the computerised attendance system it would also be easy to monitor the comings and goings of employees while record would also be available of all the visitors visiting the officers and employees In case of malfunctioning of control room of one ministry the main control room set up at the Interior Ministry would control rooms of all the ministries.—Online
