ITP to take more steps to build image: SSP

ISLAMABAD—Steps like providing due respect, honour and extending help to the road users ultimately built the immense image of Islamabad Traffic Police among general public and to restore the image, ITP has to take more effective steps.
SSP Islamabad Traffic Police commented upon addressing the concluding ceremony of one day workshop held in Traffic Office.
According to details a workshop on “Positive Attitude in Police” was held in traffic office to acquaint the ITP personnel with social manners. The renowned scholar Abid Iqbal delivered lecture to the traffic police personnel. He in his address urged upon the police contingent present in workshop to behave well with the road users specially the aged and women drivers during their duty on road violators.
The police should not aggravate on the comments of violators, the scholar added. The scholar delivered one hour lecture to the police personnel the said topic. On the concluding session, Sultan Azam Taimuri SSP, Traffic pledged to inculcate a spirit of service oriented and friendly policing among ITP officer/official and advised his subordinates to remain courteous but
firm while issuing traffic tickets to the traffic violators.
