Traffic plan finalized for Eid, new year night

Islamabad—Islamabad Traffic Police make comprehensive traffic arrangements during New Year and Eid-ul-Azha celebrations and deployed more titan 500 cops covering train markets, shopping areas, hotels, parks and mosques. The miscreants involved in car racing, one wheeling rash and negligent driving will be arrested if involved in any such activity. Eight Special Squads are constituted to cope with any situation arise during the celebrations.
According to details Mr. Sultan Azam Temuri, SSP Traffic, make plan for New Year and Eid-ul-Azha occasions to maintain proper flow of traffic and deployed traffic personnel. During New Year celebration all main markets like Jinnah Super, Supper, F-10 and Aabpara markets apart from Blue Area, Hot Shot. Serena, Marriott. Holiday Inn hotels will also be covered by deploying the traffic personnel.
Regarding New- Year celebrations the SSP Traffic warned the public not to indulge any nefarious activity like car racing, fine wheeling and driving cars without silencers otherwise strict legal action will be initiated against the violators. To avoid any untoward on roads the above mentioned eight squad will he vigilant and patrol in the capital constantly.
SSP also advised parent to keep their children refrain from indulging in one wheeling and car racing. He also added that entry in Jinnah Supper and Super market will he banned for every vehicle after 10.00 pm.
While commenting upon the deployment during Lid, he said that about 500 masajid will he covered during Eid prayer for providing easy parking to the masses especially Faisal mosque will be proper manned with traffic personnel. Shopping areas, markets will also be covered accordingly to maintain smooth flow of traffic during Eid celebration. Like wise picnic spots e.g. Shakar Parian, Rose and Jasmine Garden, Damin-e-Koh, Pir Sohawa, Rawal Dam, Chattar Park and F-9 Park will also covered by the ITP, he added. The SSP also stressed upon the masses to strictly follow the traffic rules like a disciplined nation mid not to endanger others lives.
