Quaid-e-Azam’s 130th birthday celebrated

ISLAMABAD—The 130th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was celebrated on Monday with great enthusiasm and national spirit.
Special prayers were offered in the mosques for the soul of Quaid-e-Azam and prosperity and solidarity of the country. Various political, social and cultural organizations arranged seminars and meetings to celebrate the Quaid’s birthday anniversary in a befitting manner.
The birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was celebrated in all provincial capitals, AJK and at district and tehsil level with national zeal. President General Pervez Musharraf on Monday visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to pay homage to the Father of the Nation on his 130th birthday. He laid a wreath at the mazar and offered fateha. President Musharraf is the first President who visited the mazar on the birth anniversary of the Quaid.
