Eid-ul-Azha in NWFP announced on 31st

PESHAWAR—NWFP Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has decided to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha on December 31.
A committee, comprising of Maulana Samia-ud-Din, Sahib Haq, Qari Anwar-ud-Din, Maulana Dildar, Maulana Abdul Hayee and numbers of noted Ulemas, led by Mufti Shahab-ud-Din Popalzai held a meeting at the mosque of Qasim Ali Khan Qissa Khawani Bazar here on Tuesday.
The meeting decided unanimously to hold Youm-e-Takbeerat on December 30 and Eid to be celebrated on December 31.
They considered it as a right decision according to Yum-e-Urfa. Therefore, Eid will be celebrated on December 31.
It is pertinent to note that these were the same committee members who also held a meeting with MMA Secretary General Maulana Fazlur Rehman to take a unanimous decision for Eid.—Agencies
