Residents of the city while complaining the high prices of animals said that the price of an ordinary goat ranges between Rs7,000-12,000 and it is not possible for a common man to buy animals. The sellers are demanding Rs. 12,000-25,000 for healthy-looking goats, they added while the demand of cow is ranging from Rs. 25,000-100,000.
