Riya Sen in a non-glamorous avatar

BOMBAY—After being known as the glamour quotient in her films, Riya Sen would now be seen in a non-glamorous avatar in her next project ‘Aapna Sapna Money Money’, a Mukta Arts film to be directed by Sangeeth Sivan. What were her experiences and which genre she enjoys acting the most are the vital questions? The Smashits team spoke to the glam doll during her recent visit to New Delhi for the promotion of her film ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’.

How does it feel to be part of ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’ team?
I feel glad to be a part of the ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’ team. It was fun working with a big star cast. People have also liked the movie and we are enjoying the success of the movie.
What brings you here in Delhi today?
Well, I am here for the promotion of my latest film ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’. We all have enjoyed and are enjoying the success. It’s really funny movie. The movie is a perfect blend to tease your rib bones.
Which genre do you enjoy acting the most?
I enjoy comedy genre the most. But being an actor I would like to act in all the genres. Moreover, till now in my career I have acted in comedy genre only, now I would like to get exposed to other genres also.
How was the experience of working with Subhash Ghai?
I have always wanted to work with Subhash Ghai. But when he finally approached me, it came as a pleasant surprise. Needless to say, I would never refuse such an opportunity. As far as director Sangeeth is concerned, I have worked with his brother Santosh Sivan for Malayalam film titled ‘Ananda Bhadram’.
