Centaurus attract investment after completion: APPNA

ISLAMABAD—The Association of Physicians of Pakistan Origin in North America (APPNA) while appreciating the ongoing construction work being done by the Pak Gulf Construction on The Centaurus, a multi-storey complex, has said that the project would attract further investments in Pakistan.
These remarks were expressed by a delegation of APPNA during its visit to the site of the project here in Islamabad, said a press release issued on Friday. On the occasion, the delegation was given a briefing about the project by the Pak Gulf Construction marketing team.
General Manager Sales The Centaurus, Mian Tahir Raza, during the briefing, informed the delegation that the project would be the icon of Pakistan after completion where all world class facilities like entertainments, residence, offices and 7-star hotel would be available at one place.
He also said that The Centaurus, covering 6.6 acres of land, comprises a 7-star hotel deluxe, five-storey shopping mall, three towers – one for residences while the others for corporate offices.
The project is the venture of Pak Gulf Construction Pvt Limited (PGCL), which came into being as a result of the collaboration of two recognized construction icons – Sardar Group of Companies from Pakistan and Al-Tamimi Group of Saudi Arabia. The Company has hired W.S. Atkins, a renowned architect company of United Kingdom and one of the world’s three high profile names. It has already designed the world’s first seven-star hotel, Burj Al Arab, 21st Century Tower, Twisting Tower in Dubai, World Trade Center of Bahrain and Jameera Beach Resort.
The design of ‘The Centaurus’ carries the technological strength to easily endure quakes of 9.5 plus on Richter scale, while according to the CDA rule, maximum endurance level of a building must be 7.5, Mian Tahir Raza said. He also said that owners of the accommodation in the project would be given possession after its completion and added, after paying 20 percent down payment of price the Bank Al-Falah would arrange soft loans. The remaining amount would be paid in total four easy installments.
About the facilities, Mian Tahir Raza said that staff service, fastest lift, laundry, modern security network would be available. In addition to that the residents would be having a health club, separate gyms for men and women, swimming pool, squash court, table tennis and billiard rooms for entertainment.
