Yaqub urges Chinese investors to invest in Pak

ISLAMABAD—Sardar Muhammad Yaqub, Deputy Speaker NA has said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with China and needs to further strengthen it.
He said this while talking to a delegation of Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) led by Madam Li Xiaolin, which called on him at Parliament House on Tuesday. While talking to the delegation, Deputy Speaker was of the view that regular interaction between the people of both the countries would provide a sustainable upward momentum in further strengthening the bilateral relations between both the countries.
The Deputy Speaker also appreciated the timely relief assistance provided by China to the affectees of devastating earthquake in year 2005. Sardar Muhammad Yaqub expressed his desire to further diversify cooperation between both the countries for common advantage of both the countries. He urged the Chinese investors to invest in Pakistan especially the energy sector.
He appreciated the ongoing cooperation between China and Pakistan in the fields of education, health, defense, industry and agriculture. He also apprised the delegation about the tourism potential in northern areas of Pakistan which would attract Chinese tourists. Madam Xiaolin agreed that regular interactions between people of both the countries and exchange of cultural and trade delegations would further augment existing relations between both the countries. She further informed the Deputy Speaker that Chinese investor are keen to avail, the investment opportunities in Pakistan.
She expressed the desire for further enhancing the trade and cooperation in various fields for common advantage of both the countries..
