No alliance with PPP, says Shujaat

ISLAMABAD—The president of the ruling PML, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has strongly refuted the possibility of any electoral deal with PPPP, before the forthcoming elections, scheduled in 2008.
While talking to a private TV channel Saturday, he said that the caretaker government would be formed three months prior to the elections and predicted a landslide victory for the ruling PML
He said that in case PML fails to win a majority, only than an alternate can be visualized. He said that he had advocated during the previous elections that any party was free to rule in its majority zones, even the PPPP.
He said that during the rule of recent PML government all the avenues of dialogue are open and every body has a right and access to dialogue with the government.
Replying to a question, he said that President Musharraf would be re-elected as President in accordance with Constitution, even if the re-elect is through the current Assembly.—Online
