Cotton production to cross target:Bosan

ISLAMABAD—Federal Minister for Food, Agriculture & Livestock, Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan expressed hope on Saturday that the production of cotton will cross the target fixed this year.
Although, Pakistan could not meet target fixed last year due to flood hit the crop. He observed this while talking to Ambassador of the Union of Myanmar, U. Tin Oo who called on him here.
The ambassador said that Pakistan has made to much developmentin the field of cotton and sought the help from Pakistan to get good yield of cotton in Myanmar and added: our people should be trainedin the Pakistani institutions to keep them abreast of modern technology in this field.
The minister assured to the ambassador that Pakistan willprovide all possible help to the concerned officials of Myanmar so that it can get better yield of cotton. The minister also offered to the ambassador to extend help to Myanmar to enhance its production in Rice and Livestock.
