PM returns home from Saudi Arabia

MADINA—Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz Friday left here for Pakistan after completing his six- day visit to Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
He was seen off at the Madina international airport by Deputy Governor Madina Abdul Karim Hunainy, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Pale Incharge for Haram Affairs, Maj. Gen. Nida ul Enazi Corps Commander and other high officials. During his stay in Madina, the Prime Minister paid his respects at the Roza-e-Rasool (Peace Be Upon Him) and offered Juma prayers at Masjid-e-Nabvi. He also offered special prayers for solidarity, prosperity and progress of Pakistan, and for the people of Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon and Iraq.
The Prime Minister and members of his entourage were allowed to enter the Roza-e-Rasool as a special gesture. There was strict security around Masjid-e-Nabvi. A large number of Pakistanis working in Madina and the pilgrims, who were there to offer Juma prayers gathered there and welcomed the Prime Minister warmly.—APP
