Pakistan, Windies to practice under floodlights

KARACHI—Pakistan and West Indies cricket teams will have training session under National Stadium Karachi (NSK) floodlights on Friday evening in build-up for the fifth and final One-Day International between the two teams to be played on Saturday.
Prior to the training session, captains of the two teams will have a media briefing at 4.30 p.m. a spokesman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Thursday.
The two teams flew into the city from Multan in the wee hours of Thursday morning after delayed arrival of their flight to Karachi. Both the teams rested in their hotel rooms because late arrival of the PIA flight from Multan because of technical reasons. Host Pakistan is leading the five match ODI series 2-1 after opening match of the series at Rawalpindi was washed out due to heavy downpour. Pakistan won the matches in Faisalabad and Lahore before going down by seven wickets in 4th ODI in Multan. In the meantime administration of NSK tested the floodlight system of the stadium on Wednesday to avoid any embarrassment of power failure like during the third ODI at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Final touches are being given to hold the match in orderly manner after successfully staging the third Test at same ground between the two teams. However general public was still running pillar to post to get the tickets for the match which according to reports were sold out after put on sale on Wednesday from various branches of Bank Alfalah.
