Indian troops launch violent crackdown in IOK

ISLAMABAD—In occupied Kashmir, India troops in a violent crackdown in Srinagar, arrested three Kashmiri youth without any provocation and shifted them to some unknown destination.
The personnel of Central Reserved Police Force accompanied by Special Operations Group (SOG) sealed off the city’s busy business centre Lal Chowk and asked pedestrians to line up. The passengers were asked to get down from their vehicles.
People were frisked and subjected to identification parade and three persons were whisked away to some unknown destination, KMS reported. Meanwhile, dead body of a trooper of Rashtiya Rifles was recovered from a room of Hotel Peak View in Lal Chowk area whereas another dead body of a truck driver of Udhampur was recovered from Qazigund area of Islamabad in IHK. —Agencies
