Training necessary for staff professionalism: Registrar SC

ISLAMABAD—Professional training for the staff of Supreme court of Pakistan has started in the Supreme Court of Pakistan under the directives of Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.
The training session was inaugurated by Dr Faqir Hussain, Registrar of the Apex Court. Twenty five officials of BPS-5 to BPS-16 of the Apex Court have been nominated in the first batch for training. The inaugural session was also attended by all the senior officers of the Supreme Court. While addressing the participants of the training, the Registrar said that training is necessary not only for continuing education and development of professional skills but also to improve the aptitude and conduct of the officials. It teaches discipline and enhances the performance of the staff and organization.
Chief justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikahr Mohammad Chaudhry has desired to arrange the professional training for all the staff members of the Supreme Court of Pakistan to improve the working of the Apex Court at lower level and make the system more efficient and smooth than it works presently and in accordance with the rules and regulations. He is taking keen interest to develop efficient working and the conduct of the staff, which would ultimately facilitate in dispensation of justice to provide relief to the public, the registrar said.—Online
