Chinese media delegation to arrive

BEIJING—A 5-member senior media delegation representing prominent tourism magazines and newspapers left here Wednesday evening to take part in "Visit Pakistan Year" celebrations to be inaugurated at the federal capital, Islamabad on Friday. "We are very excited and happy and its a great privilege that we have been invited by the Ministry of Tourism, to take part IN the launching ceremony as well as other related events", the members of the delegation told reporters before departure.
They said tourism has great potential in Pakistan and such activities certainly promote this sector, which was hitherto not exploited, they further said. There are many countries who earn millions of dollars through tourism that include Sri Lanka, Maldives, etc. No doubt in Pakistan there are many beautiful tourist spots, landscape as well as mountain regions which are a source of attraction for domestic as well as foreign tourists. They also referred to historical places in Lahore, Taxila as well as the ancient civilization at Moenjadaro etc.
