All dams including KBD to be built, says
President

ISLAMABAD—Making it absolute clear that
every step will be taken to avoid water
shortage in the country, President General
Pervez Musharraf Tuesday said all major
water reservoirs including Kalabagh Dam will
be built because masses were fully
supporting them. “It is imperative to
construct water reservoirs before 2016 in
order to meet water scarcity otherwise
country will plunge into crisis but we will
not let this happen,” he observed this while

Pak, Saudi Arabia pledge to work for World
peace
RIYADH—Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Tuesday
vowed to continue to play their active role
in ensuring peace in the region through
increased cooperation. Prime Minister
Shaukat Aziz soon after his arrival here
went into a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince
Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, discussed the
situation in region, particularly Palestine,
Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Kashmir
and expressed the resolve to seek their
solutions by unifying the Muslim world.
