Special walk for disabled person held in Capital

ISLAMABAD—Expressing solidarity with disabled people, a special walk organized by For Assistance of Special Talent (FAST) was held in Federal Capital on Saturday.
The special walk, which started from Parliament House and ended near China Chowk was participated by more than a dozen disable people, Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Traffic Azam Taimouri, City Magistrate Islamabad Fahad Ali Khan, Chairman FAST Malik Yousaf Iqbal, authorities of Islamabad Administration and Islamabad Traffic Police Capital Territory.
Addressing on the occasion, SSP Traffic Azam Taimouri said that current government is taking concrete and effective steps to solve the problem of disable people in the country on priority basis. Disable people are vital part of society they cannot be ignored, he added. Islamabad Model Traffic Police are starting special safety programme to deal with public transport matter with special focus on crossing of road, he remarked. Traffic Police are taking effective steps for the safety of disable people, he asserted.
