Aditya & I are not together: Tanushree
From Noreen Aslam

BOMBAY—According to the grapevine, actress Tanushree Dutta and director Aditya Dutt have got back together. Dutta laughs off the rumours. “What rubbish! Aditya and I are not back together,” she laughs.
Whispers also had it that because they were back together, Aditya was keen to cast her in his next venture. “There’s not a single grain of truth to it. There has been no film offer from Aditya,” Tanushree clarifies, adding, “I have always maintained and shall continue to say that Aditya and I have been good friends. There’s nothing more or less. Can’t two individuals be good friends? Even while doing Aashiq Banaya Aapne, we were complete professionals. I think I am living in sin city where girls who are single are looked upon as if they have committed a sin. I am single because I have not found anybody to have a relationship with.”
Tanushree is looking forward to Priyadarshan’s Bhagam Bhag. “Bhagam Bhag is my first film with Priyandarshan and it was quite a learning experience working with him, even though I am doing a guest appearance in the film. My song has caught on with the masses in a big way and ever since the song has been shown on the promos, my phone hasn’t stopped ringing. I am excited that Bhagam Bhag is soon going to hit the theatres. And Akshay Kumar and Govinda create a laugh riot in the film,” she says.
The ex-Miss India has also been roped in for Priyadarshan’s next Dhol. “I can’t reveal anything about Dhol right now. If I said yes to the film, it is because it had a wonderful script and of course, Priyadarshan’s presence as a director,” she says. Tanushree is also looking forward to Vishram Sawant’s Risk. She admits that the film is based on encounter specialist Daya Naik’s life, but that it has been woven in a different way. The actress has also shot for Ashwini Chaudhary’s Good Boy Bad Boy.
It was rumoured that the number of scriptwriters that had walked in and out of the film had only made a mess of the script of the film. But the actress says that her character has not been meddled with. “My character and role have turned out to be just the way it was narrated to me. In fact, I happened to watch some portions of the film while dubbing for it and I did not find any changes in my role or character. It was just the way I was told it would be,” she explains. Tanushree says that she plays a college girl. who is spoilt rotten and that the character is very different from the way she is in real life.
