Afgan may join PML -Q

ISLAMABAD—Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr Sher Afghan Khan Niazi hinted at joining Pakistan Muslim League PML-Q. “I am ready to join PML, but the decision to joining the party would take some time”, Sher Afghan told a private TV channel Asked about arrest of IB’s officials in the involvement of planting explosives outside CM office, the Minister said that CM NWFP Akram Khan Durrani was demanding the transfer of the official who was arrested for the last one and half year. Commenting on the allegations of NWFP government for the involvement of IB’s official, Dr Sher Afghan Khan Niazi said that they are trying to defame the agencies. Niazi said that the Federal Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao has asked for investigations and NWFP government should wait for the results instead of levelling allegations.—Online
