IB staffer handed over to police on remand

PESHAWAR—Anti Terrorism Court on Thursday has handed a low ranked employee of Intelligence Bureau (IB) accused of planting explosive near the boundary wall of Chief Minister Secretariat to the police on a four day remand .
It may be recalled that Naib Qasid Tufail was arrested by the Frontier Police Tuesday after being caught red handed while throwing a seven inches long dynamitic stick hidden in an empty packet of biscuits close to the outer front wall of the Chief Minister Secretariat.
Police Thursday presented Muhammad Tufail before the Anti Terrorsim Court where Judge Anti Terrorism Court handed him over to the police on four-day remand, reported a private TV channel.
Meanwhile, Federal Government has constituted a four member committee to probe the allegations of recovery the explosive material from an employee of the Intelligence Bureau.
The committee members include Joint Director Intelligence Bureau Sharif Warik, Additional Director Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) General -Tariq Khosa, Deputy Inspector General Hazara Zulfiqar Cheema and Commandant Frontier Reservoirs Police Malik Saad.
